1936 - Dewey Cox was born Dewford Randolph Cox in Springberry, Alabama.
1953 - A news paper clipping stating that Dewey Cox caused an upset at the local high school talent show, by playing
"The Devil's Music". He leaves Springberry, with his future wife Edith.
1954 - Was the floor mopper at "Leroy's Lounge". He use to watch Bobby Shad every night, to where he knew his show
by heart. One night he had to take over for Bobby Shad. Bobby Shad had broken his hands from punching his land
lord, when he had laryngitis. Here, Dewey meets Sam. He "wows" the crowd and the talent scouts with Bobby Shad's,
"(Mama) You Got To Love Your Negro Man". The talent scouts take Dewey to Planet Records. There he meets Dave and
Theo, who make up the rest of his band. He almost fails at getting a record, until he sings his song, "Walk Hard".
Walk Hard becomes America's favorite record, within 35 minutes of it's recording.

???? - Dewey goes on stage after the order of The Big Bopper, Buddy Holly, then Elvis. He manages to prove
himself to the crowd with "Walk Hard". He plays his song, "A Life Without You (Is No Life At All)" as an encore.

1968? - Dewey and Darlene have a public interview. Dewey explains he's going to India. It's rumored he met
The Beatles there.

and the band breaks up.
???? - Dewey was arrested, again. It was for public indecency, as well as being under the influnace of several
illegal drugs, one of them being PCP. Darlene divorces him and leaves him. He goes back into Rehab.
1976 - Dewey lived in Malibu, California. He gets his own show, "The Dewey Cox Show". It was a variety show.
???? - Dewey meets his third future wife, Cheryl Tiegs, when she guest stars on his show. When she marries him,
she takes the name, Cheryl Cox-Tiegs. It was rumored that he had some really wild parties at his house.
???? - "The Dewey Cox Show" loses ratings to "The Incredible Hulk" show.

1992 - A small news bit comes out that Dewey marries Darlene Madison, again, at Cox Ranch in Tennessee.
2002 - Dewey makes a small performance in San Francisco, California on April 16.

???? - Lil' Nuzzack makes a music video, "(You Make Me So) Hard" and puts some clips of Dewey Cox's "Walk Hard", from
one of his old performances.
2007 - Because of Lil' Nuzzack's video, Dewey Cox is reintroduced to a younger generation. He his put up for "The
Lifetime Achievement Award". At the concert he has guest performers, like Jewel, Lyle Lovett, Jackson Browne, and Ghostface
Killah honor him. There was a really moving introduction speech by Eddie Vedder. The band was reunited for
this amazing event and they performed Dewey's new song, "Beautiful Ride". Dewey dies three minutes after the performance.
It was rumored to be a Heart Attack.
2007 - On December 21 the offical Biopic comes out into theaters.
